Its actually quiet.

To what do I owe this pleasure? My son is asleep and my daughter is at preschool. So I thought, hey, some time to blog blogity blog blog blog. I have a feeling that I may not be able to keep up with this writing thing but, I actually like doing it. Who knew. I hope I can be interesting enough to hold your attention. Is my wit going to be enough? Will I have to be uber clever to keep my readers...or even get anyone to subscribe to my blog? I just started so I’ll cut myself a break, but please readers...if there are any out there....subscribe to my blog. It will make me feel special. Who doesn’t want that, right!

Enough of that. So some good news. I feel a bit foolish but I’ll take it because my hot water heater is in fact....NOT....leaking. Woohoo and hallelujah! It seems that there is a small box of some sort that filters our central air system. In my previous attempts to fix our water softener that beeps relentlessly whenever it’s low on salt until I unplug it and reset it, I apparently unplugged this thingamajig and it poured water all over our floor. Luckily, it didn’t get to the just finished part of our basement, thats all waterproof except for the floor of course. It stayed, instead, in a nice pool on the hard concrete floor.
SWEET! Especially after the taxes we had to pay for 2009. Oh yes, I guess we or well our accountant made a few errors and we got a letter from our friendly IRS, giving us 3 weeks to figure it out before they started adding interest to our estimated tax bill. It was so nice of them to look everything over for us. You know, incase we were human and made an error. I wonder if they ever just send YOU a check saying... “Hey, you made a few mistakes on your taxes and we fixed them for you. Heres a few thousand dollars.” Highly unlikely. They don’t hesitate to slam you for your errors. So, where is this money going again? Oh well.

So what now? School is just about over for my little ones. It’s funny how the preschool that you pay for gets out about a month earlier than the free public schools. I just think thats bull $*(&! I pay good money to have a 2.5 hour break! It’s my time to go to the bathroom with the door closed dam-it! No interruptions, no whining, just me! I’ll whine if I want to, but thats my choice! Ah, but in a month...camp! Still pricey, but worth every penny for my sanity. This will be the first year my daughter is old enough to attend camp so I’m looking forward to it. My son can maybe go to one, but of course, if they can’t use the potty we pay more. I wish I got a little extra for changing diapers. I guess thats my gift as a mother. To wipe poop from my children’s butt.
On that note, I look forward to another day and another blog. Keep up that good parenting!
